-
attractive and competitive value for money, amazing location and friendly staff. long island city district certainly deserves to be visited. they offer hot waffles, tea and coffee in the morning.
Could not be improved in any way.
-
We really enjoyed facilities and location.
-
Near the subway station and with easy access to Central Manhattan, so nice

We traveled two adults and a child. Better value for money with breakfast included than in Manhattan If you don't mind using public transportation to and from Manhattan, it's a very good choice. Clean and comfortable to rest after a day without stopping. We were accommodated on the 8th floor, in a room with two double beds. The first night we found it a bit noisy, but it didn't bother any of us to sleep . Very friendly staff. We were allowed to leave our bags in the hotel hall after the check-out. We dropped them off at 8:30am and picked them up around 4:00pm. . Well connected to Manhattan. The queensboro plaza stop is less than 100 meters away, there are several subway lines that take you to times square in 15-20 minutes. There is also a bus stop about 500 meters away to go to and from Manhattan . Direct connection to JFK from queens plaza station about 700 meters. This station has an elevator for luggage and trolleys. . On the way to the subway stations there are various places where you can buy something to eat. There is also a pharmacy on the same street.
Being three people, a week-long trip, it seemed to us that there was little closet. A couple of days the elevator broke down around 8:00 am. they fixed it quickly and we had no more problems, it did mean that we had to carry our bags and trolley down the stairs.

location of the hotel is very convenient: close to two metro stations (several branches at once). It is convenient to get from/to the airport and to the center of a couple of stops on the subway. Area is quiet and close to mini-markets and catering outlets. Breakfast is full. Hotel, of course, is not n`w, for those who care about the city and not the hotel surroundings - it is ok. It isn't the first time we've been in New York City, as Manhattan's prices are unreal, we decided to stay here. We didn't regret it. hotel itself is clean, bed linens and towels are clean! staff is always there to help.
We would very much like to wish that if breakfast is announced from 6:00 or 7:00, it should be fully served by that time and not after 20-25 minutes. Guests adjust to the time. And 4 tables at such a hotel are not enough, of course.

The housekeeping employees were very polite and sweet.
-
very closed to new york subway / the stuff helf us with every question we had
the area next to the hotel
-
the staff quickly moved us to a new room after finding out that there was no hot water
there was no hot water in the first room we were sent to.
-
closeness to Manhatten
Surrounding area noise. Sound proofing of rooms vey poor
-
The hotel was just beautiful everywhere inside, the lobby, hallways and rooms were just spotless
-
Hotel was very good situated (I could easily reach Time Square and travel back and there couple times a day);
Area around hotel is a bit scary (people who are situated on 1-6 floor can enjoy view of junk yard (from the car repair on the same street) - people from the other side of hotel can enjoy view on Long Island RailRoad; Isolation was horrible, sitting so far I didn't have problem with too much noise from MTA, but when taxi's under hotel starting to horn to each other for 5 minutes in a row - you get pretty upset with all that noise and it's impossible to talk on the phone at that moment; they did clean my room everyday, but not vacuum - I had a ball of dust every morning in my throat; oh, and not mini-bar; tv is old - not flatscreen; breakfast is a joke (I didn't use it all); no food shops around :(
-
location: close to subway, 1 stop from Midtown Manhattan. Clean room. Decent breakfast.
The breakfast area (especially the seating part) is far too small for the amount of guests.

The hotel is very conveniently located for getting to midtown Manhattan. There are two main subway stations very close to the hotel. These are served by several subway lines, so it’s very quick and easy to get to New York’s theatre district and Times Square, as well as 5th avenue shopping and Central Park. Although small, the bedrooms and en suite bathrooms are clean and comfortable. They are equipped with an iron and ironing table, which were very useful. Free Wi-Fi in the bedroom was also appreciated.
Breakfast selection very poor, with an extremely small seating area and a surely attendant. There are very few alternatives for breakfast in the area. The hotel is located in soulless semi-warehouse district with virtually no bars, shops and restaurants. It took us a long time to figure out how to use the shower (there’s a pull-down mechanism below the bath tap). Although the beds are comfortable, the rooms are poorly sound-proofed: our room was located next to the stairwell and we were kept awake between 3 and 5am by a group of bikers who were running up and down the stairs and banging on one another’s doors. Coming from JFK, the hotel was extremely difficult for our (yellow cab) driver to find; it took us over an hour.

Close to the subway station, it was easy access to explore the city.
Breakfast, not so many choices. And no place to sit.
